The WSVB safety valve is designed for overpressure protection of unfired pressure vessels in saturated steam systems.
These valves are manufactured and tested at a facility in the United States.
When steam pressure rises to the set point, the safety valve opens rapidly, discharging steam at a rate exceeding the rate of steam generation. This reduces the system pressure to a safe level, at which point the valve closes.
Stainless steel spring.
PTFE-PFA valve seat, resistant to boiler treatment chemicals.
Dual control rings for high performance and adjustability.
Tapped valve body drain port allows for the removal of condensate, protecting internal components from contamination.
This safety valve features a cast-bronze body, a stainless steel spring, a PTFE-PFA seat, and a stainless steel stem. The unit complies with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, for steam service applications.
